Пояснительная записка
Тип урока: комбинированный
Проведенный урок входит в раздел «Соединенные Штаты Америки» и является седьмым по счету.
Цель урока:

Ход урока:
1. Организационный момент:
-Good morning, boys and girls! (Good morning!)
-I'm glad to see you! (We are glad to see you too.)
-What date is it today?(Today is the 24 of November)
- What is day of the week? (Today is Thursday)
-How are you? (We are fine, thanks. And how are you?)
-I'm fine, thank you.
-Who is absent today? (Misha is absent.)
-Why is he absent? (He is ill.)
2. Фонетическая зарядка:
-Ok, thank you. Now look at the blackboard. You see a tongue-twister. First of all I will read it. (написано на доске).
She stops at the shops where I shop,
And if she shops at the shops where I shop,
I won t stop at the shop where she shops.
-What sound is repeated here? (The sound [ ])
-Yes. Let s read this tongue-twister in turn! (Читают по цепочке).
3. Речевая разминка:
Today we are going to summarize the information about the USA. You will have a chance to demonstrate your deep knowledge about this country. We are going to speak about its geographical position, its people and political structure, about famous American presidents and about the history of the country.
На доске написаны слова - речевой материал урока.
Now, let s read the words on the blackboard. Эти слова вам помогут при переводе домашнего текста и вы должны будете их выучить.
(Most powerful, highly-developed country, North American continent, total area, continental part, the population, capital, major cities, symbol, the USA, the Pacific Ocean, the Atlantic Ocean, Mexico in the South, Canada in the North, the United States of America, the five Great Lakes,
the Mississippi, the Gulf of Mexico, the Cordilleras, the Rocky Mountains, the Appalachian Mountains, the Great Plains, the Central Lowland, the Mississippi Valley)
Put down these words on your copybooks and let s remember our words which are connected with « The USA»
Let s read these words (Дети читают после учителя хором и индивидуально). С этими словами мы будем часто встречаться, поэтому вы должны их знать.
4. Проверка домашнего задания.
-And now let s check your hometask. You should make the exercise on your copybooks. In each sentence there is one mistake, you must find and correct it.
-Are you ready? Who wants to go to the blackboard?
(Учитель вызывает к доске студента для проверки домашнего задания, в то время как некоторые из студентов получают карточки с индивидуальным грамматическим заданием). При проверке упражнения обучающийся объясняет каждое предложение и исправляет грамматическую ошибку.

5. Введение нового материала.
-And now Masha will show the informative video about the USA and after the watching you should answer the questions. Let s see! (Ребята смотрят видео о географическом положении США, о площади, чем омывается эта страна и т.д. )
После просмотра ребята отвечают на вопросы учителя:
