The objectives of the
lesson:
1) to
revise vocabulary;
2) to
talk about exercise, food, sport stars and diets;
3) to
practice monological and dialogical speech;
4) to
give presentation about pupils’ favourite sports;
5) to
develop the pupils’ attention and memory, creative abilities, interest to their
health.
Equipment:
An interactive board, pictures, flash cards, computer.
The Procedure of the
lesson
I. Organization moment.

Greetings.

Naming the theme and the objectives of the lesson.
II. Phonetic drill.
1. Health
is above wealth.
2. An
apple a day keeps the doctor away.
3. Early
to bed and early to rise, makes a man healthy and wise.
III. Warming up.
1. It
is important to stress the need for a balanced diet with plenty of fruit and
vegetables and not too many sweets, chocolate, fast food, (like hamburgers and
chips) and sweet, fizzy drinks. What food do you know? Which food and drinks
are good for sports people?
2. Ex,
