Students say their name and a city, starting with the same letters as their name.Divide the class into two groups according to the picture. My name is Danial and the city is Dubai.Students will be divided into two groups “Old London” and “ New London” Warm-up(3 min) Teacher will invite the pupils to listen to the song “ Rubbish” PB p 64 Students will sing along. CD 12 Checking up the home work.(5 min) AB p Ex 1 Read and put them in order.Ex 2 Read and match the sentences with pictures. Pupils do ex 1 and ex 2 Presentation.(3 min) Look at the pictures which I gave you to divide. How do you think what are we going to talk about ?You’re right, about the city.The theme of our lesson is What did you do?Look at the board here you can see the new words. Students will listen , repeat and one person will read the words. Practice(15 min) Open your books p 46 pay attention to the pictures.Listen to the text.Let’s read the text then do exercisesEx 1 complete the sentence Students do exercises in their group. They will work in a group. They will try to understand through listening and reading.
