Цель урока: систематизация
и обобщение материала по теме: «The United States of America»
Задачи:
Образовательные:

Закрепить лексические
навыки
по
теме
«The United States of America»;

Подготовить учащихся к тестированию по
теме;
·
Тренировать фонетические и
слухопроизносительные навыки;
Развивающие:

Способствовать развитию мышления, догадки
учащихся;

Способствовать развитию умений спонтанного
говорения;

Развитие творческих способностей учащихся;

Способствовать умению анализировать;

Способствовать повышению мотивации к
изучению иностранного языка;

урока: урок говорения и закрепления пройденного
материала

учебник «Английский язык» для школ с
углубленным изучением английского языка авторы Н.В.Верещагина, О.В. Афанасьева,
проектор, экран, презентация, компьютер, раздаточный материал
T1: Good morning,
children! We are very glad to see you. How are you? During 2 weeks we had been
learning a very big theme “The United states of America”.
T2: At last today we are
going to finish it and we’ll check your knowledge in an unusual way. It will be
a game of 2 teams. In every task a winning team gets a star, like this, and we
glue it on your flags. The team, which collect more stars, will be the winner
and they get excellent marks. Is everything clear?
T1: But at first let’s
sing a song and repeat American states.

«50 states of the USA»)
T1: It was fantastic. Now
to begin the game you should divide into 2 teams. So we decided it will be team
of boys and team of girls. But you should have a team name. There are letters
in front of you – put them in the correct order to get the right word.
(дети собирают по
буквам название команд)
T1: Have you finished?
Ok, let’s revise – so the 1st team name will be “Alabama” and the 2nd
– “Arizona”.
T2: We can begin our
game. The 1st task – “Noughts and crosses”. Does everybody know the
rule of this game? I’m sure you do. But here except drawing noughts and
crosses, you should translate words from Russian into English. Is everything
clear to you? Ok, the 2nd team will begin – you draw crosses.

T1: Move on. Our second
task is “Answers-questions”. You will watch the video and after that the teams
ask each other about what you saw.

видео-ролик «Символы США» и потом по презентации задают друг другу вопросы).

is the capital of the USA? (The capital of the USA is Washington, D. C.)
2. When
did Christopher Columbus discover America? (He discovered America
in 1492.)
3. What
do Americans celebrate on the 4th of July? (They celebrate Independence Day.)
4. What
tradition did the first colonists start? (They started the tradition of
Thanksgiving Day.)
5. What
are the colours of the American flag? (The colours of the American flag are
red, white and blue.)
6. How
do people call the American flag? (It is often called the Stars and Stripes.)
7. How
many stars and stripes are there on the American flag? Why? (There are 50
stars on the flag because there are 50 states in America.)
T2: It was great! Your
knowledge is perfect. I think, Washington would be proud of you. Well, let’s
begin our 3d task – “Dialogues”, it was your homework. The 1st team
should prepare the dialogue about history of America, and the 2nd
team about America’s symbols. Go ahead.

T2: I think each pairs
had good dialogues and get stars.
T1: Well, we continue our
game and the next task is “Scrambled words”. You can see a lot of words on the
board – your job is to make combinations of them, word phrases. The
1st team will be first.

excellent marks. Our congratulations!
T1: And also I would like
to mention our boys and girls who were very active today, they get also extra
marks for their great work. Our lesson is over. See you tomorrow. Good bye.
