Topic:  Knowledge of Languages is a Formula for Success, Well-being and Recognition of the Younger Generation

Тема: Знание языков – залог успеха, благополучия и признания молодого поколения

 

Aim: 1) Educative aspect:

·       Development of  untrained monologue on the basis of the given statement and of the read text;

·       Understanding of the teacher and partner’s speech in different communicative situations including unfamiliar linguistic means.

2) Instructional aspect:

·     To increase the motivation for the learning of the foreign language;

·     Development of the respect for the culture and traditions of the country of the learning language.

3) Developing aspect:

·     Development of the capability for generalization, consistence and conclusiveness;

·     Creation of the correct psychological climate;

·     Aid development of creative activity.

Цель: 1) Образовательный аспект:

  •  развитие неподготовленной монологической речи на основе предложенного высказывания и прочитанного текста;
  •  понимание высказываний преподавателя и собеседника в различных ситуациях общения, в том числе при наличии незнакомых языковых средств.

2) Воспитательный аспект:

  • повысить мотивацию к изучению иностранного языка;
  • воспитание уважительного отношения к культуре и традициям страны изучаемого языка.

3) Развивающий аспект:

  • развитие способности к обобщению, логичности и доказательности;
  • создание благоприятного психологического климата;
  • способствовать развитию творческой деятельности.

 

Problems:

The topic of our lesson is “Knowledge of Languages is a Formula for Success, Well-being and Recognition of the Younger Generation”. Тема нашего занятия:

«Знание языков – залог успеха, благополучия и признания молодого поколения». Today we are going to speak about the languages and their importance and role in the life of people. Сегодня мы поговорим о языках и их роли в жизни людей. We are going to have some tasks in reading, speaking, translation comprehension, and of course while working we will revise the grammar. Мы выполним некоторые задания на проверку вашего умения читать,  говорить, переводить, и, конечно, вспомним некоторые грамматические правила.

 

Let’s read the epigraph of our lesson. “Language is a dress of thought.” (Samuel Johnson) Давайте прочитаем эпиграф к нашему занятию. (язык - средство выражения мысли.)

Данная разработка открытого урока и презентации по английскому языку дают возможность обобщить знания слушателей по теме "Страны и Языки". Слушателям предлагается выполнить различные задания на определение названия стран и языков, на которых там говорят; проверить правописание; отметить умение слушателей работать с диаграммами и правильно их описывать, используя подходящие наречия; а также проверить способность слушателей  воспринимать информацию, предоставленную в текстовом виде, - читать, переводить и выполнять задания по прочитанному, то есть проверить понимание проработанной информации. Также предлагается ответить на некоторые вопросы, то есть проверить монологическую речь слушателей и их умение выражать свои мысли устно.
