Aims:
· to
form Ss’ listening, reading, writing, speaking skills and habits on the theme
“Food”, using new vocabulary, Present Simple and the First Conditional;
· to
develop Ss’ ability of thinking ( to compare, analyse and summarize facts on
the theme), Ss’ memory, their ability to work in pairs and groups;
· to
teach Ss to keep fit, to care about their health, to eat healthy food, to
respect each others’ opinions.
Objectives:
SWBAT practice using new vocabulary and new grammar: the First Conditional in
interactive exercises, listen to an information poster “The healthy eating
pyramid” and answer the questions, read the text about healthy food and diet
and write True/ False exercise, talk about healthy eating, sing a thematic song,
express their own opinion on the theme, work in pairs and groups.
Items Needed:
an interactive board, a CD player, thematic pictures, posters, a grammar table,
lists with the text, two lists of white paper, felt-tip pens, a bag with food
subjects, a slogan

the vitamins you need to grow. But you’ll get tired easily if you eat too much
junk food, and if you tired, you won’t do as well at school.
