Тип и вид занятия: Role playing.
Цели:
Обучающая: to work with Britain press (The Times), to introduce students with the work of edition, its main points and issues, to get used to the role..
Развивающая: to develop pupil’s oral skills and auditory skills, and mentality, to work with different materials and information.
Воспитательная: to get acquainted with the history of formation of Britain newspaper (The Times), to show the real situation in the newspaper edition, to be the part of the big company in making news, work together like a team.
Материал: poster, office equipment, presentation, whiteboard, songs, internet + web-site, version of newspaper, versions of interview and survey, 3 types of video materials, New Year tree, decorations.

Christmas version of newspaper is at hand and what are you doing? – Editor. (We are working) – Students. Design department, what are you working on? – Editor. (We are working on design of newspaper pages. We are almost ready; we need just half an hour and we will present it for you) – students. Ok. I will come back to it later. – Editor. (Everything will be done) – Students. Digital department, what about the web-site, is it ready? Did you update links and materials there? Did you remove errors and fixe all problems? – Editor. (Yes we did, madam. We just need a little time to check the system) – students. So, what news do we have for this version? – Editor. (We need to make a video for web-site and article for paper version about Christmas celebration) – Students. Good. P and M take camera and microphones and go, work. Material must be ready at 4:30. Or you will be fired! Is it all? – Editor. (No. I forgot to tell you that today we have guests in our edition) – students. What guests? – Editor. (Those nice people who have received invitations from our edition for excursion) – Students. Or yes, I remember! P and M work, please, with those two ladies. D, take the interpreter with you and show them edition, don’t forget to make a survey. – Editor. (Yes, madam. Everything will be done) – students. Everybody knows what to do. If so, work! – Editor. |

Данное занятие, точнее сказать мероприятие, составлено в виде ролевой игры: один день в редакции газеты "The Times". Для игры был составлен сценарий, атребуты офира редакции, был создан сайт с материалами в интернете, видео репортаж, несколько вариантов газеты с опросами, интервью и фотографиями преподавателей колледжа.
Это интересный и занимательный метод работы с одаренными детьми, с использованием ИКТ, информационных технологий, опережающих заданий другое. Также данный вид работы помогает сплотить детский коллектив, научить их работать в команде ради одной цели.
Мероприятие прошло на ура.
