Healthy week
The aim of the project is to attract teenagers to a healthy way of life.
The idea of the project is to show on their own example how it is important to be healthy and to make a set of rules on healthy life style.

To describe a healthy lifestyle, we have decided to show you usual teenagers whom you can meet everywhere. They don’t have good health nowadays. These teenagers have agreed to take part in our experiment which we called "Healthy week". Our heroes will follow all the instructions of a healthy way of life during seven days, and in a week we will see the result of this experiment. You are welcome!

Monday. First day
HEALTHY FOOD FOR MODERN MAN.
THE PRINCIPLES OF HEALTHY EATING:
EAT A VARIETY OF FOOD OF ALL KINDS EVERY DAY.
REMEMBER: FOOD CANT BE ABSOLUTELY "GOOD" OR COMPLETELY "BAD."
KEEP YOUR WEIGHT BY CHANGING THE AMOUNT OF FOOD AND DOING PHYSICAL ACTIVITY.
EAT SMALL PORTIONS.
EAT REGULARLY WITHOUT LONG BREAKS.
DO NOT EAT YOUR PORTION IMMEDIATELY, ONLY LITTLE BY LITTLE . CHANGE YOUR DIET GRADUALLY.
EAT MORE FOOD RICH IN FIBER (VEGETABLES, FRUITS, BREAD AND OTHER GRAIN PRODUCTS, CEREALS).
LIMIT FAT FOOD. CHOOSE FOOD WHICH IS LOW IN FAT.
TRY TO COOK FOOD WITHOUT FAT OR WITH THE MINIMUM OF IT.
LIMIT CONSUMPTION OF PURE SUGAR.
LIMIT CONSUMPTION OF SALT.
AVOID ALCOHOL.

Second day. Yoga.
The yoga is an additional development.
Regular exercises help everyone to reach good health and harmony in thoughts.
The yoga is capable to help to restore the child`s balance, to increase endurance. It takes alarm and pressure away.

Wednesday.
Sport is very useful! It is the simpliest and accessible kind of exercises. Running promotes development of lungs, strengthens a cardiac muscle, promotes a metabolism, reduces weight, influences on nervous system well.

Fourth day. Kefir day.
Milk and dairy products contain a considerable quantity of animal protein and calcium which is necessary for maintenance of a good condition of bones and teeth.
Fat - free kefir contains sour - milk bacteria which kill pathogenic microbes.
The kefir glass for the night should be drunk by each person who lives a healthy life style.

Friday. Fresh air.
Breathe fresh air and forget about deseases.
Oxygen will help you forget about the oxidative stress (oxygen deficienсy)
Due to the fresh air, the person becomes well-balanced and calm.
Fresh air improves your sleeping, you become cheerful and in a good mood. Fresh air has a positive effect on the cardiovascular system. It helps to normalize blood pressure and heart function.
Our advice:
You should go to the forest at weekends.
You should do outdoor sports.
You should breathe fresh air after the rain.
You should aerate your room.

Saturday.Good mood.
Everyone turns away from the person in a bad mood. A man in a good mood can move mountains. Bad mood can lead to depression. To be positive for a long time you need to please yourself and look at everything with a smile. It is a pleasure to speak with people. When a person laughs, it prolongs his life. There is an excellent and easy way to lift your spirits every morning: make faces in the mirror. Smile and our country will be the most positive.

Sunday. Fruits
Fruits are very important in our life. Each of us adores fruit – someone loves banans, someone apricots, peaches, apples, pears. All of us know that fruit is very useful both for adults and children. Now I will tell you about advantages of some fruit.
Orange
-they give energy and strength
-oranges are rich in vitamins A,B,C
-they have rather big maintenance of potassium
Apple
The apple reduces cholesterol level in blood. It protects against cancer. Moreover apples improve immune system and help to support constant level of sugar in blood.
Bananas
-these fruit contain of full set of vitamins and minerals, iscluding rare magnesium and potassium
-it is ideal food to have a bite
-it influences on your stomach well

Aman must always try to develop physical qualities such as strength and quickness. Physical exercises should be perfomed every day. In summer you can run, swim, play out door games (volleyball, basketball, badminton, table tennis).
Swimming, running, sports games influence well on all systems, develop endurance, and improve the respiratory and cardiovascular systems.
Swimming in cool water has a beneficial effect on the nervous and vascular systems. In winter you can ski, skate. Gymnastics can be done at home. Do physical activities, participate in sports games, hike, because these activities are useful for a body.

Урок-проект по теме " В здоровом теле здоровый дух" для учащихся 9 класса создан по УМК "New Millennium English".
План-конспект урока включает в себя этапы урока. К уроку прилагаются презентации самих учащихся, которые работали над своими проектами неделю, собирали необходимую информацию, делали фотографии и в итоге представляли свои электронные презентации для защиты своих проектов по теме " В здоровом теле здоровый дух."
Пректы детей имеют разные направления по данной теме, в проекты включены викторины. жюри оценивало достижения ребят. Урок имеет большое значение для здоровьесбережения учащихся и для повышения мотивации к изучению иностранных языков.
