Тема: “Are you a friend of the ecology?”


Тип урока: Урок обобщения и систематизации.


Цель проведения урока: систематизация и обобщение лексических знаний учащихся по теме «Ecology».

Задачи:

образовательные:

  • систематизировать лексику по теме во всех видах речевой деятельности: чтение, аудирование, говорение; письме.

  • совершенствование знаний и навыков учащихся по употреблению лексики на тему: “Ecology”;

  • подготовить учащихся к устному монологическому высказыванию по теме “Проблемы окружающей среды”;

  • применение грамматических навыков на примере модального глагола (must /mustn’t- должен/не должен) а так же Пассивного залога в настоящем времени;

развивающие:

  • повышение интереса учащихся к изучению английского языка;

  • обогащение лексического запаса учащихся по теме «Экология»;

  • развитие навыков аудирования без опоры на текст с целью извлечения конкретной информации, готовности к коммуникации, умения публично выступать с краткими высказываниями по проблеме урока;

  • развитие творческих способностей детей;

воспитательные:

  • формирование экологического мировоззрения;

  • воспитание бережного, толерантного отношения друг к другу и к окружающей среде.


Методы и приемы: наглядный метод, метод иллюстрации, аудио-визуальный, частично-поисковый, словесный (беседа), практического обучения (упражнения).

Учитель: It is not a secret that our planet is in danger. The Earth needs our help. And we must help it. Let’s read and translate the text and answer the question what is the connection between this story and our problem. Try to understand what the story is about. (Please take the sheets with task #1 )

Once there was a wise old man. He could answer any question in the world. Everybody knew about him. One day two boys said, “We are going to fool that old man. We’ll catch a bird, go to the old man and say, ‘We are holding something in our hands. Is it alive or is it dead?’ If he says, ‘Dead,’ we’ll let the bird fly, and if he says, ‘Alive’ we’ll kill it.” илья

They caught a bird and they carried it to the old man and they said, “We are holding something in our hands. Is it alive or dead?” And the wise old man looked at the young people and smile. “It is in your hands,” he said.слава

(Однажды жил старый мудрый человек. Он мог ответить на любой вопрос в мире. Все знали о нем. Однажды два мальчика сказали: «Мы обхитрим этого старого человека. Учитель: So, dear friends, answer the question please: What is the connection between this story and the environment?

Учащиеся: The future of our planet Earth is in our hands too.


Учитель: And What should we do to become eco-friendly? Answer my question at first, then you’ll ask the same question using modal verbs must or mustn’t

Учащиеся: put the litter in the bin,

reuse and recycle newspapers, cans, plastic and glass bottles,

help wildlife,

don’t disturb animals,

build nature gardens, bird boxes,

walk or cycle to school.

So, to protect the nature we should follow three R’s rules, rules of economy. Я: Let’s remember, what we should to do. (reduce, recycle, reuse)


Ok. Well done. And now, I think it’s time to have a little rest. EXERCISES FOR EYES

And some EXERCISES for your breath. Imagine that you are divers. I begin to count from 1-4, and you’ll breath in. And then, I’ll count from 1-6 and you’ll breath out. Well done.




So now we’re going to listen a story about environmental problems and during listening you‘ll do some exercises. You have sheets with task . You should fill in the gaps in the first task.

In the second task you should put a word true of false according to the statement. Let’s begin.





And now it’s time to remember our grammar. Alina, remind, please the rule Present Passive voice. You may do it in Russian. So, You have sheets with task #2 Please, open the brackets in the sentences. You have 3 minutes.

Environmental problems is the most burning problem of today.

The ecological problem influence the climate on the Earth. Mankind long believed that , whatever we did, the Earth would remind much the same. Nature is under threat. Our country’s pollution can be every country’s problem. So we all need to work together to safeguard our environment.


Air pollution is a very serious problem. Industrial enterprises emit tons of harmful substances . They are the main reason for the greenhouse effect and acid rains. The pollution of air and the world’s ocean, destruction of the ozone layer is the result of man’s careless interaction- with nature a sign of the ecological crises.


Rains, full of acid chemicals, change lakes, rivers, as well as forests. Acid water kills the plants and animals that usually live in water. Acid rain makes the Earth more acidic and some kinds of trees can’t live in the sol that is very acidic. Forests are disappearing and this upsets the oxygen balance.


Water pollution occurs mostly, when people overload the water environment such as streams, lakes, underground water, bays or seas with wastes or substances harmful to living being.

Nuclear weapons is also course of the pollution. It brings a great damage to the agriculture, forests and people’s health.


The greenhouse effect and global warming both correspond with each other. The greenhouse effect is recalled as incoming solar radiation that passes through the Earth’s atmosphere but prevents much of the outgoing infrared radiation from escaping into outer space. It causes the overheat of the air as a result we have the global warming effect.


People are beginning to realize that environmental problems are not somebody else’s. In many countries environmental protection agencies and research centers are up. Such organization as “Green Peace” cares for ecology in countries. Its main goal is to combine the people’s efforts for peace with the huge and ever mounting movement launches all kind of environmental actions and inform of the ways, means and results of this work.
