It is the first lesson of the unit “Reading”. The next lesson will be devoted to reading practice.

Students will be able to talk about different types of books

Subsidiary aims

Students will report the results of the survey. Students will practice expressing opinions about books, expressing agreement / disagreement, listening for gist, listening for detail. To introduce and practice new vocabulary and structures.

To practice the ways of motivating students. To improve the work with new words and structures.

Students can use some words and structures that they already know

Students have problems with listening for detail and doing a group survey.

Описание:

Рабочая программа по английскому языку для 6 класса к учебнику “NewMillenniumEnglish” (Н.Н. Деревянко, С.В. Жаворонкова для 6 классов общеобразовательных учреждений) составлена с учётом федерального компо­нента государственного стандарта основного общего образования. Программа является средством управления процессом обучения английскому языку как первому иностранному языку в 6 классе общеобразовательных учреждений. Программа рассчитана на три урока в неделю. Урок является первым в разделе учебника “Reading? Itsgreat!”
 («
Чтение? Это здорово!»). Он относится к типу уроков первичного предъявления новых знаний. Основная часть урока – это работа над лексическим материалом. Тематика урока дает широкие возможности для расширения зон повышения мотивации. На данном уроке используются различные формы организации взаимодействия: целым классом, в парах, в группах. Учитель выступает в роли организатора учебного процесса и консультанта.

 

Все вышеописанное способствует достижению успеха на уроке. В ходе урока происходит формирование навыков познавательной активности учащихся, лингвострановедческой грамотности, способности к общению на языке и коммуникации вообще. Большую роль играет воспитательный аспект (любовь и интерес к чтению).
