Aims of the lesson Today our lesson will be bilingual so you will have the opportunity to practice English and French in speaking, reading, listening and writing as well. Also we will revise Passive voice in English and French. We will compare these grammar rules in two languages and practice them in English and French. Your French teacher will help us to combine our activity.

A new exhibition at the Museum at Liverpool opens on 1 July. It looks current trends in four different areas of modern Technologies and asks where they are heading. It includes videos, interactive displays and virtual reality exhibits.

Let’s divide our group in two parts: Take the cards and read the name of your city. The First group will visit Liverpool. The second group will visit Paris.

  • Four high school computer hackers were arrested yesterday and face charges of theft and fraud. It was believed the four boys, aged between 16 and 18, a computer Internet scheme was used to steal computer equipment. The boys, whose names hadn’t been released yet, proposed to break into a local Internet server and steal credit card numbers. 20 000& worth of computer equipment was ordered by them. The equipment was delivered to vacant homes in the area, where it could be picked up after school. When the boys were asked why they carried out such an elaborate scheme, they said they were surprised at how easy it was.

RELAXION. You are a bit tired of practicing two languages. Let’s relax a little.

Modern technology can give us the possibility to relax. Shut your eyes and listen the sounds of nuture.

The second part of the exhibition is connected with mobile phones.

What the previously developed technology are used in the mobile phones?

Who uses mobile phones more often? ( teenagers, people between 40 and 50, men, woman)

Do men or woman use mobile phone more often?

Are mobile phones modified too fast?

Are mobile phones more complicated to operate than radios?

What are the drawbacks of using mobile phones?

Let’s divide into two groups and discuss the necessity of mobile phones at school.

To sum up our discussion let’s divide our group into two parts again. The first group will present the advantages of modern technologies. The second group will present the disadvantages. Look at the screen and use the linking words and phrases to express your ideas logically.

  • Have these advances made our lives easier?

  • Can these advances destroy the world we live in?

It is impossible to give the definite answer to the questions related to the harm of modern technologies. I strongly believe that advantages overweigh the disadvantages.

We have revised the Passive voice, so at home you must use the grammar skills obtained at the lesson.

Homework: ex. 2 p. 161 You must choose the correct form of the verb to complete each sentences.

Билингвальныйурокпотеме  Advantages and disadvantages of  Modern technology был дан в 11 классе специализированной школы с углубленным изучением иностранных языков в 2014 г.  На уроке были использованы интерактивные методы и средства обучения. (мозговой штурм - для определения темы урока, работа в группах и парах, метод PRESи другие)

Фонетические трудности в процессе аудирования могут быть одними из самых сложных. Использование синтезатора голоса может быть полезным для формирования фонематического слуха, навыков произношения, а также развития способности распознавать слова и синтагмы.
             Использование компьютерных технологий, в частности синтезаторов речи помогают создать целостную систему языкового и экстралингвистические воздействия на ученика. Высказывания в форме отдельных слов, фраз с использованием наглядности или без нее, введенные в сентизатор речи могут быть связаны с различными аспектами обучения, такими как грамматика, лексика и письмо.
В условиях учебного процесса, в котором большинство учеников не имеют возможности общаться с носителями языка, ситуации общения с имитацией голоса, безусловно, совершенствует навыки владения иностранным языком. Качество звучания речи созданных такими программами как ReadPlease или GOOGLE TRANSLATOR дают достаточно четкое произношение большинства фонем, слов, фраз и небольших текстов.
Данные компьютерные программы дают возможность создать упражнения для формирования и совершенствования навыков речи, чтения и письма на основе аудирования. Например, ученикам может быть предложено:
- Прослушивание лексические единицы, отдельные фразы, затем повторить их.
- Прослушивание текст и воспроизвести его
- Ответить на вопрос компьютера
- Прослушивание правильные варианты выполненных лексико грамматических заданий и проверить себя.

Также грамматические упражнения могут быть созданы на материале небольших диалогов - образцов, при этом можно для контраста комбинировать мужской и женский голос диктора.
