· To know and use the terms that are connected with Numerals;

· Listen, learn and pronounce;

· Individual and group feedback.

The expected result

 

ü  They will know and use the terms that are connected with Numerals;

ü  They will be able to pronounce and count with using numerals;

ü  They will be able to work individually and in group.

The main idea  

-         Create “Wordbank” based on the theme “How many …”

-         Pronunciation: learn to count and name numerals.

-         Working out: understanding the implication of a word and reply.

First step: Team work “Vocabulary and grammar database”

*To explain new vocabulary words. Then all repeat new words after the teacher.

*To explain how to use them in sentences and the way of making plural forms.

*To explain the sentence structure   

Coin [kɔɪn]  -монета

Stamp [stæmp]- марка

Badge [bædʒ] -  эмблема, значок

have [hæv]- иметь

shell [ʃɛl] -скорлупа

has [hæz] –иметь

postcard  [ˈpəustkɑːd]  - открытка

model  [ˈmɔdl] - модель; макет

car [kɑːr]  -  автомобиль, машина

star [stɑːr] - звезда

foreign [ˈfɔrɪn- иностранный, зарубежный

drum [drʌm]- барабан

Our theme in our lesson is How many stamps have you got?”                                                           

Verbs: have got, has got.                                                                                                                     

Affirmative
I have a stamp.
I have stamps. 

I have got a badge.
I have badges.
She has got a book. 

Negative sentences:

I have not got a badge.                                                                                                                                

You have not got a badge.

My friend has got 10 coins, 90 stamps, 20 postcards, 16 model cars.                                                                               

My friend hasn’t  got badges.

Second step: Pair work “Dialogue”

*Give time to be prepared for the dialogue

*Ask them to act out the dialogue in pairs

Omar: How many postcards have you got?                                                                                            

Colin: About seventy.                                                                                                                              

Omar: My sister has got nearly a hundred.                                                                                            

Colin: Has she got any foreign stamps?                                                                                                

Omar: Yes, she has some.                                                                                                                       

Colin: How many has she got?                                                                                                               

Omar: About thirty.                                                                                                                                 

Colin: Has she got any shells?                                                                                                                 

Omar: No, she hasn't.

Third step: Individual work “Leveled tasks”

*They should work individually. Begin with the task of “C” level and then who could complete first can continue doing “B” level and then “C” level task.
