The theme of the lesson: the Flora and Fauna of Kazakhstan. Punctuation marks
Aims: 1. Development of pupils’ skills in auding, speaking, reading and writing.
2. To develop pupils’ speech habits on the theme “The Flora and Fauna of Kazakhstan”.
3. To enable students to speak about animals and plants of Kazakhstan.
Visual aids: pictures, cards, object, the map of Kazakhstan, interactive board.
The method of the lesson: answer the questions, writing, speaking.
The linking subject: Kazakh language, Geography, Biology.
I. Organisation moment: 
Greeting, checking up the attendance, asking the day and the date.
- Good morning, children!
- Who is on duty today?
- Who is absent?
- What is the date today?
- What was your home work at the last lesson?

II. Checking up the home task:
1. “Saving energy” to read and to translate.
2. Vocabulary to learn by heart.
3. Cards.
III. New lesson: Brainstorming: (ой қозғау)

Well, children let’s begin our lesson Today we have a new lesson and an interesting lesson, because today we have a lot of guests and First of all I want you to take cards with different coloures . Please, take cards. According colours I want to devide you into two groups. Pupils with red coloures sit here, Your groups name is “Fauna” and the second groups name is “Flora”
1. Do you know the word “flora”?
2. Do you know the word “fauna”?
III. Work with the group:
1. What is flora?
2. what is fauna?
3. What do you know about “Red Data Book”?

To protect these animals

In this book there are many animals. There are many fish, birds and animals. They are in danger. We must defend these animals because they are very rare or extinct. We have in our land 9 reserves.

They are: Aksu - Zhabagaly, Almaty, Markhakol, the West Altay, Khorgalzhyn, Nauryzym, Barsakelmes, Usturt, Karatau, Alakol. In these reserves there are many animals and people work with animals all day.


IV. Work with the map of Kazakhstan.
V. Vocabulary work: 
rare animals (plants)- сирек кездесетін аңдар(өсімдіктер)
threatened animals- құрып кету қаупі төнген аңдар
endangered animals- азайып бара жатқан аңдар
VI. Reading: 1. “The Flora and Fauna of Kazakhstan” for the 1st group.
2. “Kulans” for the 2nd group.

VII. Doing exercises: ex.12.
VIII. A. to make list of rare animals and plants.
b. choose one animal one plant and collect information about them.

IX. Settling home task: 
To read the text vocabulary to learn by heart, ex 4.
X. Conclusion
