для 6 класса общеобразовательной школы
Цель: актуализировать и систематизировать
знания учащихся по теме: “London.
FacesofLondon”.
Задачи:
1. Образовательная:
создать условия для актуализации знаний учащихся по
теме «London»,
формировать представления об исторической и культурной значимости лондонских
достопримечательностей, их функциональности и архитектурных особенностях.
2. Развивающая:
развивать память, мышление, внимание, воображение.
3. Воспитательная:
воспитывать уважение к культуре страны изучаемого языка.
4. Практическая:
создать условия для актуализации и систематизации ЛЕ по теме “London.
FacesofLondon”,
совершенствовать произносительные навыки учащихся, развивать умения понимать
речь в нормальном темпе, при живом общении, развивать умения быстро читать
текст про себя с извлечением и сопоставлением необходимой информации, развивать
умение писать личное письмо.

Ход
урока
1 этап. Подготовка учащихся к иноязычной
деятельности.
1. Организационный
момент. (2 минуты)
Задача: проверить готовность учащихся к
уроку.
T. – Good afternoon, students! I’m very glad to see
you! Sit down, please. Who wants to start our lesson? Please tell us about the
date and the day. Who is absent today? Why is she/he absent? Thank you. Sit
down, please.
2. Фонетическая зарядка (3минуты)
Задача: совершенствовать произносительные
навыки учащихся, развивать абстрактно-логическое мышление.
T. – Look at the screen, please. Let’s read a small
but interesting poem. Listen to me and say after me:
Don’t tell me how you live each day;
Don’t tell me if you work or you play;
You have a true barometer in the place –
However you live, it will show in you face.
Let’s pronounce this poem again. All together.
Let’s translate this poem. Who is ready? Translate,
please. Thank you very much. Do you know the meaning of the word “barometer”?
Why do people use a barometer? Yes, you are right. People use a barometer to
know when the weather will change. Does the author tell us about the weather?
No, he doesn’t. You are right. Why does he use this word? Thank you for your
answers. The author uses this word to show the changes of our faces.
3. Речевая
разминка. ( 5 минут).
Задача: создать атмосферу общения на уроке
через неподготовленную речь учащихся, развивать абстрактно-логическое мышление,
память.
Let’s talk about faces. Every person has a face.
Everybody knows that. But, who can answer such question? How many faces does a
cube have? Yes, you are right. A cube has four faces/ So a face is a side. A
cube has four sides so it has four faces. I have another question for you. How
many faces does London have? Who knows? Thank you for your answers. London has
a lot of faces. What are the faces of London? Yes, you are right. The faces of
London are its sights.
Look at the screen, please. You can see the theme of
the lesson. Read, please. Today we will talk about the faces of London, the
sights of London. Last year you learned some information about London and its
sights. What faces of London do you know? Thank you for your answers. Today
we’ll remember the most famous sights of London. You will know some new facts
about their history, function and architecture.
II
этап. Обобщению и систематизация ЛЕ по теме “London.
FacesofLondon”,
формировать представление об исторической и культурной значимости лондонских
достопримечательностей их функциональности и архитектурных особенностях,
развивать умение понимать речь в нормальном темпе.
T. – Let/s play a game. I have some riddles for you.
Your task is to guess what face of London is described. Is it clear? Let’s
start.

The first riddle^ It was a fortress, a prison and a
zoo. But nowadays it is a famous museum. What is it? Yes, you are right. Thank
you. It is the Tower of London.
The second
Riddle: It’s the London home of the Queen. What is it?

The third riddle: It is the square with a big column
and a statue of Admiral Nelson. What is it? Yes, you are right. Thank you. It
is Trafalgar Square.
The fourth riddle: It is the place where the British
government works. What is it? Yes, you are right. Thank you. It is Westminster
Palace.
The fifth riddle: It is the famous museum of wax
figures. What is it? Yes, you are right. Thank you. It isMadame Tussaud’
Museum.
The sixth riddle: It is a square and public space of
London’s West End. It is the meeting point of six streets. What is it? Yes, you
are right. Thank you. It is Piccadilly Circus.
Задание 2. (5 минут)
Задача: обеспечить условия для
актуализации и систематизации знаний учащихся по теме
T. –Now look at your papers, task 1 (Приложение
№ 2, задание № 1). You can see five
columns. They are “Palace”, Square”, “Museum”, “Park”, “Bridge”. You can see
11 sights of London. We have just talked about some of them. Remember the
others and put the words under the correct heading. You have 3 minutes to do
this task.
Your time is up. Let’s check. Who lives in the
palaces? What palaces of London do you know? Who works in Westminster Palace?
What do people usually do in squares? What squares of London do you remember?
What buildings are called “museums”? What London museums do you know? What
parks are in London? What bridges of London do you remember?

5. Задание
3 (10 минут)
Задача: развивать умение быстро читать
текст про себя с извлечением и сопоставлением необходимой информации, формировать
представление об исторической и культурной значимости лондонских
достопримечательностей, их функциональности, развивать логическое мышление,
внимание, память, воспитывать уважение к культуре страны изучаемого языка.
T. – Do you like parks and gardens? What do people
usually do there? You know that London is famous for its parks and gardens.
Would you like to visit the parks and gardens of London? Let/s read some new
information about them. Open your books at page 81, ex.10. Read the text “Parks
and Gardens of London”. Look at your papers, task 2 .(Приложение
№ 2, задание № 2). Decide whether the
following sentences are true or false. You have 8 minutes to do this task. Your
time is up. Let’s check your answers.
1. There few parks and gardens in LONDON. Is it true
or false? This sentence is false. There are a lot of parks and gardens in
LONDON.
2. The Royal parks are the property of the Royal
family. Is it true or false? Yes, you are right. It is true.
3. London Zoo, a lake and a theatre are all in Regent’s
Park. Is it true or false?Yes, you are right. It is true.
4. Hyde Park is the oldest park in London. Is it true
or false? Thank you for the answer. It is false. St. James’s Park is the oldest
park in London.
5. The statue of the famous Peter Pan is one of
London’s Parks. Is it true or false? Yes, you are right. It is true. The statue
of Peter Pan can be seen in Kensington Gardens.
7. Задание 4. (7 минут).
Задача: развивать умение писать личное
письмо, формировать представление об исторической и культурной значимости
лондонских достопримечательностей, развивать логическое мышление, воображение,
память, воспитывать, уважение к культуре страны изучаемого языка.
T. – Now I want you to look at the letter which I
received from my friend yesterday. She wrote me about faces of London. But I
have a problem – some words are missing. I think my computer has a virus. Help
me, please. Write down the missing words. You have 5 minutes to do this task.

Этап. Заключительный. (3 минуты).
Задача: подвести итоги урока, сообщить
домашнее задание, аргументировать оценки.
T. –What sights of London would you like to visit and
why? What was new for you? Your mark is … because … Your home task is ex. 10 h/
80-81 (read and translate the texts about the museums of London). The lesson is
